Children's Ministries

But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."    Luke 18:16, 17 NIV

Children's Ministry is organized to promote and coordinate ministry to the children of the church, as well as to involve children in service to others.

The mission of the Children's Ministry at the Gisborne Seventh-day Adventist Church is to glorify God through our service to and teaching of the children in order to:

1. Uplift and encourage them.
2. Help them to proclaim the Good News.

The weekly Children's Sabbath School classes have Bible Stories, songs, craft, quizzes and games.

Children 9.30-10:40pm

Our church caters for children each week by providing Sabbath School classes for age groups:

• Primary - 6-9 yrs (Room 2)
• Junior and Teens 10-15 yrs (Hall)

(Children join their parents and care-givers during the church service where there will be a children's story).
